Clear Blue lifeguards benefit from the latest industry training. Our experienced Lifeguard Instructors conduct seasonal classes in all of the following:

• Lifeguard Training
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer
• Standard First Aid
• Blood borne Pathogens
• Oxygen Administration
• Automated External Defibrillator

All of our lifeguards carry current, up to date certification issued by the American Red Cross. Further, their certifications are regularly monitored and augmented with routine in-service drills and rescue scenarios conducted by Clear Blue supervisors at contracted facilities. When your members see a Clear Blue lifeguard, they will feel confident and secure.

Our lifeguards fulfill their obligation to the safety of every patron with the highest sense of duty and responsibility. They are also trained in a broad range of secondary clubhouse duties that include:

• Keeping in consistent contact with property managers
• Being properly stationed and identified at all times
• Uniformly enforcing facility rules and regulations
• Checking guest badges and ensuring proper sign in
• Cleaning filter baskets and backwashing filters
• Skimming and vacuuming pool daily
• Scrubbing pool tiles
• Cleaning poolside tables and chairs
• Monitoring, stocking and disinfecting bathrooms
• Ensuring proper placement of all rescue equipment
• Testing water hourly and logging results
• Reporting all incidents to the property manager
• Opening/closing umbrellas and repositioning deck furniture
• Emptying garbage & locking facilities at closing
• Providing deep water competency assessments
• Conducting swim lessons as needed
